Deleted_User Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Let's just say I was selling my car How much is it worth, I was thinking around £11,500 Elise S2 (Sports tourer) (lightening yellow) 44K miles Absolute mint condition in & out Full service history You all know the car and how well looked after it is. So, any thoughts.. how much
stockhome Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I think that's a good price Scott how come you selling
Deleted_User Posted July 2, 2009 Author Posted July 2, 2009 how come you selling Little bit undecided at the moment, if someone came knocking on my door with the money I would prob sell it though I feel it's time to move on
kimbo Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I'd advertise it at £24,000 - that way you have no chance of selling and MLOC retain a valued contributor
MilesH Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I'd advertise it at £24,000 - that way you have no chance of selling and MLOC retain a valued contributor I have to agree!
richbk Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 get as much as you can...then spend it on my exige tbh a reckon closer to £10,800 to £11,000 it is immaculate, and very well looked after, and im sure first to view would buy, but you got to get them viewing 1st and at £11,500 i think you might struggle to get lots of interest. sorry to be kill joy, just realistic in current climate ;( richbk

fentuz Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 What did you see at top gear that makes you want to change car????
JonS Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 It would be a shame to loose you from the fold Scott, but you know what is best for you. I would say around the £11k is fair. Having seen your car a few times it is lovely condition, so I'm sure it wouldn't stay For Sale for long. You be able to get the price you want. You don't know if you dont ask, you can always go down in price, but not the other way. Best of luck Scott in whatever you decide to do.
Laura Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Sorry to hear you are thinking of selling Scott but you know whats best for you. If you do sell dont be a stranger

Deleted_User Posted July 3, 2009 Author Posted July 3, 2009 Thanks for all the kind comments guys Let me explain... The other day driving work I cut someone up, complete accident I simply didn't see the other car as I joined the dual carriage way (he could have filtered into the other lane but that besides the point). Any way, this guy pulled along side me and went fu*king mental, I mean absolutely crazy. I had no roof on and the windows were down and I shouted across, "sorry, my mistake I honestly didn't see you, you were in my blind spot". The guy continued to be a lunatic and pulled in behind me, flashing his lights, horn out of the window (you get the idea) I considered out running him but then I thought, no.. it's rush hour and it'll look like I am egg'ing him on. He followed my for about 5 miles running along side of me, then slotting in behind me etc After a while he pulled along side of me and shout, "it's fucking pointless following you", "I'll easily spot your car out and about". At this point I had had enough and basically told him to fuck right off, and with that he went. The last thing I need is having my car kicked, keyed, slashed roof etc and this was one of the reasons I was considering selling it. The car is SO obvious and if this guy does or did what to do anything the car is a very easy target and I really don't want the hassle. Anyway, 24 hours have passed and I have come to a conclusion. Why should I let a complete prick dictate what I drive, yeah the car gets attention and it could be damaged by anyone anytime. I am not letting a single incident influence my car. I guess it shook me up a little, thinking that someone is wanting to damage my pride and joy.
