MLOC Calender Competition

All this year there will be a competition open to all MLOC members to enter their Lotus photo's to be chosen for 2008's MLOC Calender.

At this time we're not sure of what form the calender will take, but the options are:

A4 Traditional Spiral Bound calender

A3 Traditional Spiral Bound calender

CD case desktop calender

Towards the end of the year we will have polls to decide which pictures will make it through to the final calender - one for each month and one for the front cover.

So come up with your best shot and think about:

Subject matter

Composition

etc etc

I look forward to seeing what you all come up with! :P

Let us know if you have any ideas.....?

Ladders and the rest of MLOC's admin rabble ;)

P.S. Dave wrote the above so blame him for any spelling mistakes ;)

Bah, I rely on you to check my mistakes Mark!

Race for the first pic! :P

Edited to say:

I forgot to say!

Only pictures taken in 2007 will be eligable

But your welcome to post pictures that you like or think are of interest as it's so early in the year, plus it might give others inspiration for their shots. (just hope Beefcake doesnt get mad at me for people using up all his disc space! ;) )

Well thats a Snapper and Scotto calender then. (Men with ability) ;)

Although if I can dig out my 1968 Kodak box and find some 136 film to put in it, would that do.

No, not at all. Obviously Jamie, Scotto, Sooty Steve etc have a good chance of getting a pic in, but it's about having interesting subjects, interesting experiences about anything Lotus over the next year.

It would be good if we could get pictures of other Lotus cars as well, not just Elises

I think it's also fairer if people include pictures they have taken this year, sorry Scotto!

Does it have to be our own cars?

We might see 11 Elise/Exige variants and 1 Excel :)

I take it that Griffins are barred too :D

As long as it's Lotus related it's ok!

Course 'those' cars are allowed! :D

I take it that Griffins are barred too :P

But if you meant Griffith's, then yes! :D

Chris H,

some nice pictures there.

What camera/lens did you use for the Exige shot?

I tired to get an isolated Lotus badge shot like the one you have at the bottom there. By badge had too many imperfections in it to work. Looked crap to be honest. Is there any chance of having a larger copy of yours for my PC background  Please... Pretty Please...
