Is the rear diffuser near the exhaust tips made of plastic?

The reason I ask is the exhaust tips seem quite recessed, so from what I can see in the pic at least, it looks like the exhaust gases will heat up the diffuser a lot.

If it is plastic, depending on the material type it will melt or burn and catch fire. Just a warning, something to check over.

I've seen too many modified / super cars go up in flames for something as simple as this.

Good spot!!  The tail pipes are adjustable so I should be able to pull them out a bit.  I'll have a look when I get home.

I’m not a fan of the Pig’s snout - much prefer the twin tips so it’s a big thumbs up from me :)

I also think that the tips look too recessed at the moment, IMO get them about flush with the mesh in the diffuser, if they will adjust that far.

Dunc - There’s plenty of adjustment. I’ll have a fiddle at the weekend. 👍

I’ve attempted to pull the tips further out. However, they touch the edge of the diffuser on both sides which doesn’t look great and might cause even more problems with heat.
I might get a set of stainless tips from 2bular which won’t be as large as the carbon ones I have.
