DeanB Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 Lotus in the Peak Charity Auction 2022 Lotus Cars Ltd have kindly donated something unique and very special for our LitP 2022 Charity Auction - a print of an Emira rendering by Daniel Durrant, signed by: Kris Elston – Executive Director of Operations, Lotus Cars Ltd Russell Carr – Design Director, Lotus Cars Ltd Gavan Kershaw – Attributes Director, Lotus Cars Ltd Karl Hoskins – Head of Manufacturing Engineering, Lotus Cars Ltd Daniel Durrant – Senior Designer, Lotus Cars Ltd. The rendering is framed in black, the external dimensions are 49cm x 36cm. Daniel Durrant is the designer responsible for the extraordinarily beautiful Emira exterior. Maintaining the Lotus tradition of producing great looking as well as great driving cars, his name now ranks alongside the likes of Kirwan-Taylor, Hickman, Winterbottom, Giugiaro, Stevens, Thompson, Crijns and Carr. That’s quite a roll-call. For any Lotus owners but for prospective Emira owners in particular this is a wonderful piece of Lotus history that will look fabulous on any study wall. As well as the rendering itself the auction winner will receive a note from Lotus Cars Ltd confirming the signatures and, of course, the authenticity. To be clear, the rendering is a print of Daniel Durrant’s original artwork; the signatures however are originals making it totally unique. All Lotus in the Peak profits and auction proceeds go directly to our chosen charity Rainbows Hospice for children and young people with life limiting illnesses. So far in 2022 we have raised £9400. Fingers crossed we make our goal of raising £10,000! The auction is now live and will end at 9pm on Sunday 25th September 2022. To place a bid please send a personal message using the MLOC website message facility to: martenr1975 Please include your name, email address, and bid (in £ Sterling please). Please also indicate if you would like to remain anonymous or if you are happy for us to share your name and bid (all other personal details will be kept strictly confidential). Ladies and Gentlemen, let the bidding begin … Dean Bower, On behalf of the LitP organising team.

Luke thank you for your bid of £85, but we have since received a very generous bid from Kyle Auty of £150! Thanks Kyle 😊 It's still cheap at that price though for a unique piece of Emira history...
