Visit to Hethel

So we’re off tomorrow to our tour of Classic Lotus, I’m thinking I should spruce up the Cup for its visit back home 🤔

A bit of TLC with a full wheel off valet to make sure she looks her best! 

 

So with the first two wheels of get to work on the inner arches 

whilst the wheels were off took the time to do those nuts and ever battered side skirts aero 

 

 

snow foam time 😜 might have overdone it a bit! 

quick dry and polish and she’s looking lots better 

 

 

As we’re traveling so far (motorways etc)  I’ve finally succumbed to fitting my front number plate 😂 (and no I haven’t been pulled over) 

the credit for this needs to go to Dunc and his builders strap chicken wire attempt that I thought I could improve slightly! So we stated out with Cncing a couple of brackets with the aim of lowering the number plate also enabling more cooling 

Bolted them on with the original fixing bolts worked a treat

put some number plate sticky pads on and hey presto worked like a dream
