olliecast Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Completely hate anything to so with interior cleaning or modifing. Couldnt hack the harnesses round the seats from a safety or holding the seat in rather than me! grommets now in The car certainly feels how I want it too now. Mabe the wheel a tad closer for personal preference. tl cheers ollie
scatty Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Love it, great job mate. I imagine the harnesses feel a lot safer. Mine come over the seats and isn't ideal I must admit... 20mm spacer and job done!!!!
Rich S Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Are these new seats or is this just a modification? I am interested in finding someone to re upholster seats or at least sort out a bit of wear. Does any one know of a contact?

olliecast Posted May 26, 2013 Author Posted May 26, 2013 Alex, I wouldnt offer to do the job again, would rather be rebuilding a gearbox etc but they give a good look with the way they push through the seat etc
Phil S1 Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Nice job of fitting the grommets Ollie, even if you did hate doing it.
MilesH Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 They look good! I did similar on a friends car the other week, I was amazed how much of the seat backing (fibreglass) I had to take away in order to get them flat. Did you find the same? I also overheated the dremel towards the end which was annoying! Definitely worthwhile though
