Lotus Ultimate Track Day

The last few spaces left – 09:00 to 17:00 on 16 July 2007 - Silverstone

Venue: Silverstone Circuit, Northamptonshire

Track: International Circuit (2.249 miles long)

The Lotus Ultimate Track Day is open to all Lotus owners with their own cars and also to those

who are interested in the Elise and the Exige via the Lotus Dealer network.

The day will be a complete Lotus Experience, with a legendary Lotus F1 car from Classic Team

Lotus, a Lotus Service Clinic, Lotus Merchandise sales and attendance by several Lotus Dealers.

The newly launched Lotus 2-Eleven and the Lotus Exige GT3 Concept Road Car (first shown at

the Geneva Motorshow earlier this year) will also be on display.

Driving Packages Available:

Lotus Owner Driver Bookings - A full-day driving place for Lotus owners, bringing their own

cars to drive on track. This would entitle each driving place booking to a minimum of 20 minutes

track time in every hour and a two-course seated lunch in a pit-lane hospitality suite.

Cost: Full Day - £225 incl VAT

Additional Drivers – this will permit each additional driver to drive the same car as the main

driving place booking. The two course seated lunch is included.

Cost: Full Day - £75.00 incl VAT

Non Driving Guests / drivers' passengers – Guests are also able to attend with driving guests

on the day. Each guest will be entitled to passenger rides with their driver and also a two-course

seated lunch in a pit-lane hospitality suite.

Cost: Full Day - £50 incl VAT

Track Tuition - For those drivers wishing to improve their driving skills or for those who simply

want to improve their "lines and technique" on the International Circuit.

Cost: Per Hour £75.00 incl VAT

Helmet hire - Available by advance booking, if required. A deposit will be required on arrival and

refunded in full on safe return of helmet at the end of the event.

Cost: £20.00 per helmet incl VAT

    Elise S3 Brakes

    The brakes on my Elise 240 FE never felt brilliant but at 2.5 years old in the cold and wet did nothing when pressed, a few pumps later and some braking happened. I took it in and the pads (oem from new) were glazed. I replaced them with Pagid RS42 and updated fluid. Difference was night and day.  Now, a year and maybe 3500 miles on and the pedal feel is a little wooden again (like can brake light or hard but nothing in between) and they are squealing really bad at town driving  speeds and lig

    Tyre comparison - short note on v105 vs ad08rs

    Elise S2 k series with standard geometry so set up to understeer gently. Which is exactly what I've been getting on runs out. Car is on the recommended yoko v105 tyres. There a two types the ones to get have a slightly stiffer sidewall and are recommended for mercs iirc. V105 is in my experience a very competent road tyre for all seasons and daily driving. Definitely recommended. V105 thoughts coming off a no longer available very old and hard and narrower front tyre.  As normal T

    Boot lid hinge pin? S2 Elise

    I opened my boot today and it didn't seem right then realised it was the drivers side hinge had become disconnected from the body part. Has anyone else ever had this issue or know how to solve it?
