Imola Rally Event: Pb Racing Is Looking For A Win With Two Lotus Exige

It’s time to switch the engines on again at PB Racing. The team, based in Bergamo, comes back on track after the long Christmas break this weekend for the Imola Rally Event.

PB Racing will run two Lotus Exige GT Cup on the Enzo & Dino Ferrari circuit in order to win again after the success they enjoyed at the "Merry Christmas Rally Magione" in December.

One of the cars will be driven by Stefano D’Aste, partnered by Miriam Marchetti. The italian driver is looking forward to this event to test some new updates on his Lotus developed in collaboration with Marco Calovolo, expert engineer who works already with D’Aste in the FIA WTCC.

The second Exige will be driven by Simone Marchetti. The young 2012 Lotus Cup Italy Champion is improving his performance race by race with D’Aste’s suggestions, and in Magione he was able to set some top times in different stages.

The event, scheduled for Sunday 20th January, will start at 9.31. The drivers will be at the wheel for 53.1 kms included the final special stage.

Take a look at Stefano D'Aste in the green Exige GT Cup car and SImone Marchetti in the grey one. The cars were competing in the GT Rally class at the Imola Circuit during the Imola Rally Event 2013.
