Mloc - Would You Like To Get Involved And Become A Director?

Since we have the site upgrade and server move out of the way, the limited company has also been created so its now on to the next steps.

 

MLOC the company!

 

Would you be interested in becoming a director and guiding and running the club and moving us forward? It would be in the same line as SELOC in that the decisions of what the club does is down to us.

 

I'm currently the only director and I don't have an idea on how many directors we require but at very least 3 in total would be good but this can be changed depending on how many people are interested. The first round of directors will be helping to set the initial way forward for the club, things such as do we have an optional membership fee? join the MSA? and many other things to think about. I don't see a massive amount of work involved for anyone but obviously it does involve giving some time up for free as we run the club for the love of all things Lotus and dont take any money from it.

 

At a high level it would not involve you having to do any technical work on the website as I'm happy to continue doing that but any help is appreciated if your interested.

 

Points to note, if the club is wound up with debts then you would be liable for a maximum of £1 and not the debts of the club, unless of course it was caused by negligent things such fraud etc but I hopefully don't foresee that happening and we are not currently in debt.

 

Feel free to discuss. I'll answer what I can but its a new learning experience for me as well so I expect we will all learn it at the same time

SInce I have the Bug back (working) I've got back into the Lotus/MLOC swing of things having had some time away. If I'm wanted, I'm happy to put myself forward. I will be predominatnly located on the South Coast for the forseable future (not that it has been an issue from a Mod point of view, just stating a fact).

I would be happy to put myself forward and help out as best I can with the running of the club; I already run my own limited company so I know what the score is with all that and I'm more than familiar with IPB software as well should you need any help on the boards from time to time.
