so, production elises S1 were between 725 and 770kg depending of the version...

 

One of the rescent good stuff about k series seems to be the spanish way

I remain skeptical until I see engines on scales - I know what mine weigh.

84.5kg for a stock Rover bare engine, well over 40kg lighter than a honda, leaving box etc out, 27.5kg lighter than duratec

 

78kg for my drysumped 2L, 50kg lighter than honda, box etc etc excl, etc etc
