Same experienced under Wide and Narrow.

 

However, I have turned the RTE off and it now works fine.

Yup, that's where I found it and yes that cures the problem with Work computer!

Good good, will make the normal editor default when I get a chance then and people can switch on the RTE if it works for them, seems to cause less problems!

On the previous version, when you hovered over the post it showed a preview,it allowed me to realise if the post was worth reading,this version seems not to have this feature

Yeh it does, you just need to choose the skin with it switched on, choose the topic preview skin from the bottom left.
