LARALOTUS Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 My Mil light has come on ! Not supposed to drive it now! Need to take a day off work and drive 80miles to get it sorted, me thinking all these electronics are maybe a tad to much!!!!
un1eash Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Get someone closer to read the codes for you. It could be a simple error code that will clear it self. It's not until the MIL light flashes you have to worry.
LARALOTUS Posted January 2, 2015 Author Posted January 2, 2015 Cheers tried switching on and off a few times with no joy but all seems to run ok ?
amoss Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 I know someone who had a similar problem on relatively new Exige V6. He called the AA out (there are two years cover from new included in the warranty package) who have the kit to read the codes and check it out.

chris_h Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 You can get a obd dongle really cheap now from ebay etc and then get an app for your smart phone. For £10-£20 you can read codes yourself. If the light is just on solid probably nothing to worry about, and will go its self after 5 drives without detecting the same fault. Have you changed the exhaust or any other mods?
P4N Lotus Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Did it just come on amber or red? Did anything else happy as it happend
