I had a really good blast from Coventry back home today [ive been a residient at Warwick Uni this week]

 

Not as nice a feel as the Liz obviously - I'll quote VBH "Its like your turning the wheels with your hands!!!!"

 

The CTR's steering is a bit numbed.

 

Goes like stink though with my Spoon N1 Jap exhaust - only weighs 3kgs

 

 

I have had an offer from a fellow CTR owner for a K20 engine for £750, it only needs a rocker cover and has covered less than 5000 miles. Its the conv that costs the money though

Oh and BTW - would eat a Liz to 100mph+ [just doesnt give up upto 150pmh - or an indicated 164pmh]

 

 

If you have driven one you'd know what i mean about the gearbox and engine - nothing like it - NA all the way.

 

The problem with this is that you can really appreciate how fantastic it would be in the Elise, so pondering about the conv all the time!
