Daniel Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 ...was that it was awful and bump steer was terrible .. or something along those lines. That's my excuse why Tim and Miles were always faster than me Hopefully it'll be sorted next week
Martin R Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Daniel, you are indeed honoured if Scuffers has sorted it. I think they would struggle to keep up with 350 bhp anyway. You could probably put that in a wheelbarrow and they would not beat you Miles, Tim, Bill and i will let you know what its like after we have tried it.
Daniel Posted January 27, 2012 Author Posted January 27, 2012 Cheers Martin. He'll be looking at it on Monday with any luck, this was just him having it since Wednesday last week to dyno ... oh, and the dyno is impressive I'd prefer you do do most of the driving on the next track day. Bill will make my car smell of onion and garlic, and Miles wil just wear out the rear tyres!
Martin R Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Daniel we need the Dyno plot when you have it Should be impressive. Im sure Miles will detail it before he puts it away for your return.
mambosasa Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 CC, phah! Who needs it. Kitt will fast as hell! I am far too old for that kind of speed. I may stick my 120 bhp back it
MilesH Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Once me and my polisher have finished cleaning it you'll beable to see even the smallest part of your anatomy in it!
Martin R Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Once me and my polisher have finished cleaning it you'll beable to see even the smallest part of your anatomy in it! You leave Daniels brain out of this
Daniel Posted February 5, 2012 Author Posted February 5, 2012 I think (And don't quote me on this) it was that because the car was so low, the rack had to be raised and that had never been done. I think that's what they said anyhow.
Middo Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Cool beans, the raiser plates are buttons to buy but a pain to fit. You must be look forward to getting it back now, the cooler is a great upgrade and mine seemed a lot smoother after it was fitted. I would be interested to see your plot as you had a strong engine to start with. Enjoy fella.
mambosasa Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 I must be getting old or something but my car feels too fast as it is! I would love the engine to sound little bit more...silky. Must resist a CC install.
Daniel Posted February 6, 2012 Author Posted February 6, 2012 Do it Bis, you know you want to! Before cc and after cc dyno's. A nice increase, can't wait to feel it in April!!! Measurements at the wheels so would be a bit higher at the fly
Middo Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Sweet, numbers are at the hubs not the wheels from Tdi. Should be nippy when you get it back. Have you just had the cooler done or anything else?
Steve J Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Be interesting to see if those graphs can be replicated on other rolling roads. Leigh was a bit dissapointed at the figures he got at Monster comparred to those he got (TDI?) when the last build/upgrade was done. I'm a bit scheptical that my original Abbey Motorsport power output could be replicated.
