Also for those Le Mans virgins amongst you the bit someone said earlier about leaving nothing of much value in your tent is important, particularly Sunday PM onwards as everyone is leaving and no one pays much attention. Last year hoardes of undesirables turned up Sunday PM and started rummaging through everything left behind, including some stuff which obviously belonged to people who just weren't there at that moment in time. Everything that wasn't nailed down got nicked from the site in Houx Annexe if people weren't about (we were watching England blow the match against someone or other out of their arse at the time), including some things which were chained such as generators. Most folks were on their way by then and we scarpered at that point too...had had no issues until then though.
