Gel Coat Hairline Cracks

My first post!

 

Whilst polishing my Elise on Sunday I noticed a few hairline cracks in the gelcoat, 4 or 5 of them running parallel with each other from the headlamp cowl down the side of the wing about 100mm long. They are difficult to see, problem is though I now know they're there and it's bugging me!

 

Does anybody have any experience of getting gel coat cracks repaired? If anybody has I would be keen to know any reccomended repairers and ideas on cost, any information greatly received.

Where are you based... there is a good bodyshop called Hallcraft in Cradley Heath (nr Brum) that come highly recommended and would probably be best based to quote/fix.

At Hallcraft its £600 for a FULL front clam respray including blending through the doors.

 

£250 for a nose respray, IIRC.
