maxj0 Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Hi There. Just about to book a track day in the next couple of weeks and I'm considering sessions at either Snetterton on 17th(with motorsport vision) or Angelsey on 11th (with CircuitDays) . I'm aware that Anglesey was reshaped / resurfaced last year but wondered if anyone had been there since and if so, what you reckoned. Also, although I've been to motorsportvision days before (which were very well organised) has anyone used CircuitDays? Max.
Fiona Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Personally I preferred Anglesey before the redesign rather than after but it is still a great circuit. Snetterton is also good and suited for high power cars. However, I feel Anglesey is the most rewarding. No experience of Circuit Days, I'm afraid.
Ladders Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Yes Anglesey is good, but do miss the old curcuit! Good views as well, bizarre to see the sea as your coming down the track!
FlyingExige Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Anglesey - wet and in Wales! Nothing else against it though........
Steve J Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 New circuit isn't as much fun as the old one. I really liked bombing up through Radar then down to the hairpin. It's very slippy too if it's cold and wet.
chris_h Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 It's very slippy too if it's cold and wet. Only in the s1 Exige not in the S2
surrealillusions Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 i've not driven the old anglesey circuit, but have the new one. I do like the new circuit, and would much prefer it over snetterton, which, to me, is boring. Just 2 long straights and a couple of widdly bits.
Type51B Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Anglesey all the way... both the old layout and the new knock spots of Snetterton.. Also a great drive to get there and back..... just adds to the day...
