un1eash
My sister would like to treat her husband to a supercar driving experience day so i'd like to get any advice or experiences from people that may have been on such a day. So far I've come up with https://www.experiencemegastore.com/ which currently has 10% off thanks to Seloc. They all seem to be a 3 lap/mile per car affair so any advice would be much appreciated as i'd like the day to be one he won't soon forget. Thanks. winthattt
Try Rally School Ireland. They have Ferrari, Porsche and other dull stuff along with cool cars like a Mk2 Escort. Really good day out, cheap flights from East Midlands Airport and the charm of the Irish. Needs an overnight stay but I cannot recommend it enough. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Eve8a4fxF9A This is my then 11 year old, in total control, first time behind the wheel, probably lap 4 of 20 odd. Ask for David, Keith from Derby recommended you. You will be looked after.
scatty
I did the one in Leicester, Everyman I think it was called... It was ok, did Ferrari, Lambo, porker and Aston... 3 laps each, but not really allowed to rag it's arse off.. I would imagine there are better days... A mate did the Jonathon Palmer day which he thought was superb... I'm sure a few have done it on here... Might be worth getting there views on that.... Christopher Lawless
I've done the one at Silverstone where you can choose which "experience" you want to do. I chose the single seaters which was something like 20-30 minutes on track in the Formula Silverstone car and really enjoyed it . No idea of cost though as it was a present off my sister. lummo
I've done a couple of the Everyman Racing experiences. Did a short 'Experience' in an Aston (about 3 or 4 laps). Not bad, but it doesn't last long. Don't know how much it was - bought it with some Tesco Clubcard vouchers which were about to expire. Also did a full day one, driving on track in the morning (including Ferrari 308 GTB & 360 Spider), and rally cars in the afternoon on the perimeter concrete (in a Mitsubishi Evo). That was much better. You got a reasonable amount of driving done. Was bought it as a present, so again I don't know how much it was. On a slightly different note, I've got this http://www.ktmmxexperience.co.uk/ on my Christmas present list!!!
un1eash
Thanks for the advice. Everyman racing seems good as its local but it gets slated by online reviews.
