Thinking Of Deleting The Head Unit.

I hate to tell you this Kurt but I have a long blanking plate.... I bought it earlier this year when it popped up on ebay as I actually plan on making a dash top gauge pod over the winter to get the gauges more in line of sight when driving.

 

PS - Its not full sale I'm afraid 

 

Booooooo! I totally understand. I've seen them on Deroure, but I'm not in a hurry and will keep an eye out on eBay etc.

I have a replacement section in black alcantara which together with a lined radio carcase turns it into a useful storage cubby hole.

It's a plastic insert which fits the space where the radio was.

Hi Steve. Thanks for posting that. I'm afraid it's not really what I'm after. Perhaps it'll be just the thing Rob is after?

Martin, the bit I'm after is the plastic bit that fills in between the extrusions, that runs from the instrument binnacle to the passenger door. There'll be a cut out for the heater controls and nothing cut out for the stereo area.

Mine has the Stack gauges, More use than a head unit -

 

Hi - just wondered where you got the angled DIN radio plate from as I intend to remove the radio and like the angled gauges.
