Popular Post Aledif10 Posted March 12 Popular Post Posted March 12 Hi everyone, I’m Alessandro and I’ve just joined the forum. I’m based in Italy. My little Lotus it’s an Elise Sports Racer, bought from Central Lotus when I was living in UK. I will love to join a Lotus in the Peak maybe next year. ✌🏻 7 1 Quote
Badger02 Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Hi Alessandro, i'm doing the Stelvio pass tour with Delightful Driving company in Sept this year. Have you heard of this tour ? Quote
Aledif10 Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 Hi Badger02, yes the one organised by Elisa Artioli if I’m not wrong. I think will be really cool a tour on the Stelvio pass!! ✌🏻 1 Quote
duncx Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Hi Alessandro, welcome to MLOC I previously owned a red Sports Racer Elise - I had it for 6 years and really loved it. Eventually I was seduced away from the Sports Racer by an Exige Sport 350, which to be honest never felt as much fun as the Elise. After a couple of years with the Exige I returned to an Elise 250 Cup, but I still have fond memories of my Sports Racer - a truly beautiful car and of course the red ones are the fastest 1 Quote
Aledif10 Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 (edited) Hi duncx, this is my 6th year and I still love it. I think the sports racer was a very good spec, with forged wheels, twin oil cooler, hard top and soft top, and a lot of other stuff….and of course in Ardent Red to make it faster ahah. I have done a couple of upgrades so far to make it a bit better 😈. I love the exige v6 as well but so far too expensive to own for me in Italy instead a cup 250 could be the next step. Maybe this one was your beloved sports racer Edited March 13 by Aledif10 Quote

My registration was WR56XSR, which I always thought was cool because it was almost .. White & Red 2006 Sports Racer (although I could never decide what the X was for ) Edited March 13 by duncx Quote

RichEuropaS Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Great looking car 👍🏻 Love Italy. This photo is from the hotel on the Stelvio Pass, which we stayed the night. Great place to stay and to watch the cars on the pass. Current in Siena now, but without the car 🙄 Which part of Italy are you living? Quote

I hope next year I can manage to have 15 days for the Lotus in the Peak. I think will be a very cool adventure 😀 2 Quote
