Phil Hutchins
I think it’ll be obvious as to where to re-attach the coil spring once I get myself folded into the Lotus-position, but where has the hair-spring come from?!
Phil Hutchins
Now sorted; only half-Lotus position required!
Lithopsian
Does the pedal come back up on its own now?
Phil Hutchins
Yes…it was doing so before under pressure from the TB return spring but now I guess it’ll be quicker! Not really noticeable in thick trainers tho!
Christopher Lawless
Was this easy to sort out? My S2 exige has just snapped the spring

My S2 exige has just snapped the spring Assuming you have the mechanical pedal with an actual separate spring, this is an easy fix. If you're on the large size you might want to subcontract to a smaller person or remove the drivers seat to make it easier to slide head-first under the steering wheel. Is it the actual spring that is broken? Sometimes they just come unclipped. Not made any more by Lotus, but SJS have them listed: https://www.sjsportscars.com/parts-and-accessories/A117J6010F.htm
