JCR Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Thanks R.I.B i took your advise called Hanger 111 and got myself the last one without exhaust hole! They have more in stock I'm told with exhaust cut out. I'm having my Larini exhaust modified for side exit next week, undecided on number plate removal kit whats peoples views on them? Any other options apart from the Hanger 111? Cheers again and Mark for starting this hole thing if i was a member back when this started id already have one fitted! Chuffed.

Elise parts do one and I believe 2bular do a panel eliminator kit. Myself and Jody are currently working on making our own as in my opinion what hanger111 and Elise parts charge for them is insane.
R.I.B. Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 I think they're cheap, £200 odd quid for a lightweight aluminium diffuser cut to shape, riveted on fins and powder coated. My brother runs an engineering company and thought it was a good price for the quality of the work. I would say the central door locking module from lotus is a rip off £81 for a part that costs a few quid to make (yeap i'm still bitter about it)
M@r]{ Posted October 1, 2013 Author Posted October 1, 2013 That's the way I read it at first, but I think Alex is referring to the panel eliminator kits, which are extortionate! I ended up going for the Elise Parts one. Goods quality kit
Alex B Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Just read that back and yes it does sound like I'm talking about the diffusers The diffusers look amazing and ill order one once I have the spare cash. Mark where does the Elise parts one attach? We are looking at using the bolt holes in the boot floor.
M@r]{ Posted October 1, 2013 Author Posted October 1, 2013 IIRC the 2bular ones connect to the holes in the boot floor. The Eliseparts ones aren't as long, so they require a hole to be drilled on the section where the number plate lights are mounted.
Alex B Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 The bits I've purchased for making my kit would easily reach. To where the number plate lights are however I'm not overly keen on drilling in to the clam.

JCR Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Im now tempted to keep plate panel and left grill and see what i looks like or get a grill with hole I'm in two minds! If i go down panel eliminator i like the look of the sector 111 or difflow both USA parts unfortunately.
Alex B Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Jcr as it's one of the left over batch did you get it at group buy price?
JCR Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Yes i did but had to pay £7 for delivery i was more than happy, very helpful service too. did you get one Alex?
