Fiona
Take the stickers off using a hairdryer to heat them up gently. They won't leave a residue.
Gareth
Actually I agree, it could probably do with some paint - it was on a silver car before you see. Black would be best I think yes, but not sure how to avoid spoiling the decals... Gareth, did you paint yours yourself? Just wondering if it's something I could do as I'd rather not pay someone else to do it... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Mine is powder coated. Painting would not last long and you would never get a even coat. Shouldn't cost much to powder coat. G
darren5591
I've got some etch primer (for spray gun), spray gives an even effect doesn't it?

PeterField
Fits nice, but I reckon it'll look a lot better once it's black Graham.
Pesky
Chaps The diffusers are "anodised" either black or silver at the time of manufacture. You may find that they are susceptible to stonechipping, when painted. Fingers crossed
malbon
flog it on flee bay and buy a new one from MEd in black look loads better problem is you start looking at your wheels and other silver trim and think about blacking them too

GreyKnight
Nah I don't like black wheels on Elises, they look okay on Exiges though. Personal opinion of course. I don't want to lose the "shiny sports car" look of my Elise, I just wanted it to have a slightly more filled out looking rear end which the diffuser does (and it will be nice to have if/when I do a trackday or two). I've e-mailed a local powder coating firm to see what costs are involved in that...
pizzaboy
Ive seen the one that sticks out too much on a yellow elise and it looked wrong. However yours is easier on the eye. Reverie do a CF item for the S2 and it looks superb. Is there such an item for the S1?
BenElliottRacing
Will be fast in black. Please do not be tempted to attach 'skirts' to end plates that touch the ground as someone did at bedford earlier this year!
