I would have thought black would be a pointless colour, as they are already a darkish colour. ....But, they stand out because of the hammered finish - nice and shiny, and compliments the colour of the car. I bought a heavy duty paint remover pad, it sawed all the paint off on the flat bits, left a very thin layer on hard to reach bits.
