The previous owner had their performance pack fitted (their own exhaust, TRD airbox and performance filter, and the Lotus ECU remap). The whole package is excellent and makes a big difference (I had an NA S2 Exige before the Elise so I am qualified to compare). The exhaust sounds great. If you still want to hear the exhaust and feel how my car goes I live in Burntwood so not far from you - I appreciate you've got the Quicksilver already but the offer is there anyway. Cheers, Dave.

Dave, thanks for the offer. Yes I have the quicksilver sitting in the garage now, but I am sure I am going to be pleased with it. You are not too far away so might like to take you up on your offer to what difference the airbox/filte/ecu remap make. i will PM you over the next few weeks to see if we can arrage, if that's OK ? Typically tho it was all my fault......It did not fit correctly (that was my fault), it was way way out from the manifold (that was my fault) the packing burnt away after 3 track days (that was my fault) and the rubber flange burnt away holding the exhaust after two track days (that was my fault)! It is the single most piece of shit I have ever purchase for my car....well apart from an elisepart CF roof which doesn't say much for me. Quicksilver's customer service is SHIT, if you buy one BE WARNED! And I reckon if you sell one second hand you know this already and will be happy you've fooled some other git into buying it. Just because you see them in the glossy mags doesn't mean nothing. Meanwhile and yes he takes his time but Jim from 2ubular has supplied me with 5 items and they are mint. He will take back anything and sort it. He is such a nice chap and his stuff is awesome. You cannot put 2ubular and Quicksiler in the same league.

I should apologise for the later half of that 1st paragraph, a little offensive maybe. I know others with similar QS stories. I'm only running NA temps so strange how one system burnes out after 3 td's (104dbs with sports cat) and another is still going strong after 20+ (92/93dbs with decat). I would never buy a second hand exhaust ........unless it could be repacked, but that's just me.
