Perhaps look at a Lotus specialist?

I have an '04 S2 and I use these guys: http://www.guglielmimotorsport.co.uk/

Over 4 years and the 2 Loti which I have owned, I have used and been to quite a few "specialists" and these guys are leagues ahead of all the rest in my opinion.

According to Googlemaps Bedford to Daventry is about 28 miles.

Yep i agree, i have just used them for a c service on my s2, service was fantastic. I work in cov neer the ricoh droped my car off before work and they stayed open for me to pick it up on the way home. very helpfull

I use Steve Guglielmi for my Elise S1 as well, couldn't fault them. They've stayed open late for me and even loaned me a car whilst mine was in having work done to it. I work in Coventry and live in Leicester, as Toys R Us say...it's worth the journey If you really want to go to a main dealer try Stratstone in Leicester, they're very helpful and are clearly Lotus enthusiasts.

Hi

I used to live in Bedworth before moving to Higham on the Hill.

You could also try Paul Matty no discount I’m afraid but always had good service from them http://www.paulmattysportscars.co.uk/

I also use a specialist guy in Rugby he doesn’t have a web site but used to race Lotus in the past very nice bloke & very knowledgeable haven’t got his details with me but if you message me I’ll send them back to you tonight when I get home from work.

You live in Higham? I work in Dadlington, just down the road!

Do most of my service stuff myself but for difficult things like geo and Cam Belt Steve at Guglielmi in Daventry are super and good £s. Would never go to main dealer as labour charge is X2 or 3 and often they end up sending to a specialist.

Needed new screen in my S1 and got it done in Autoglass Training Centre in Brum - this where Lotus [and Lambo and Mini] dealers send cars with 50% markup.

Also use Paul Matty in Bromsgrove

Cheers

If you want a Lotus dealer stamp then locally the best is Nick Whale Sportscars. They don't sell Lotus nowadays but are still an official service centre. I was in there today picking up a part for the Exige. Same guys I've been using for almost 10 years. If a specialist is what you want the personally the only one I would use in the Midlands is Guglielmi Motorsport in Daventry. This is who services my car now when I don't do it myself.

Never heard of any dealer do that, their staff are usually trained to work on Lotus so there is no job they wouldn't do inhouse. If there was they would get dropped by Lotus in a flash.
