AFAIK, no teams have actually said they will race one:

 

Over 35 Teams have expressed interest in the FIA GT3 European Championship, representing 10 Nationalities, they will

give the new Series its true Pan-European character.

The first day of testing for the new FIA GT3 European Championship took place at the impressive Paul Ricard High Tech Test Track. The official GT3 test driver, Christophe Bouchut, spent over four hours trying all the cars which had assembled for the test, in order to start the process of balancing their performance. The cars which had been on display in Monaco the day before were joined by the Nissan 350Z. The fastest time of the day was set by the Aston Martin DBRS9.

That gets me back onto the stripes issue again. I know people say they are a bit chav but they look pretty good to me :unsure: .

Sorry but I didn,t get past the asthetics,I'm just thinking it would look quick parked on my drive regardless of what engine it runs etc.

Lovely innit - Imaging pulling up to work in that bad boy . .

 

Must admit the stripes caught my eye, and not Chav (but I am biased coz i've got em).. If you look at old Shelby Mustangs/GT40's/Cobras etc they almost always have racing stripes.. To be honest I've never seen a chav round my way with them on a corsa . .

I've been told that these times were set in the dry but Gavin Kershaw was close to 3 secs a lap faster than the 'official' time, in the wet!!
