Esteban Gutierrez and James Calado put a lot of laps and kilometers under their belts during the last three days in Barcelona.
Qualifying and race simulations, pit-stop training : nothing has been forgotten before the start of the season in two weeks.
The team is happy with the job accomplished and has confidence for the upcoming season which will start in Bahrain Sepang, Malaysia on March 24 and 25th.
I love the Lotus in the Peak event and it's great to see all the positive posts and pictures of this year's event. I wasn't there this time because I'd decided to attend the Jim Clark 60th anniversary celebration of his F1 championship, Indi 500 win & Tasman series championship. The brakes on my Elise 240 FE never felt brilliant but at 2.5 years old in the cold and wet did nothing when pressed, a few pumps later and some braking happened. I took it in and the pads (oem from new) were glazed. I replaced them with Pagid RS42 and updated fluid. Difference was night and day.
