- 1. Undo boot end, keep fixing (should be a new one in the bag though)
- 2. Pull cable out
- 3. Remove rear wheel and liner
- 4. Reach into space behind the door and undo the securing nut at the handle end
- 5. Remove old, shagged one.
- 6. Line up cables (new and old). Permanent marker pen on new cable to show where the fixing was on the old cable
- 7. Soak new cable with Teflon spray (eg GT85)
- 8. Fit new, reverse of above
There's something around about needing to remove the driver's side speaker, but I don't remember doing that.
Pikey way - remove old cable, spray WD40 through old sheath until it runs clear. Leave to soak overnight and repeat. Soak new cable in Teflon spray and fit into old sheath.
