Elise S2 111R MFRU multi function relay unit replacement

Hi Everyone,

I need to replace the MFRU on my Elise 111R and I am looking for some advice please.

Firstly, can this be done from above, or is it necessary to remove the under tray and do it from below? I am uncertain how much slack are in the connector leads.

Also, should the unit simply slide up and off the mounting tab, or is it locked somehow, as mine won't budge. Is there a locking tab that needs to be deflected to unlock the unit.

I can't find anything anywhere about this, so I would be very grateful for any advice.
