Sitting in the passenger seat, reach straight forward, under and behind the face of the dashboard. It can help to have the hazard lights on so you can hear the switching noise. (I used a front facing camera on a mobile to help me find the relays.) The indicator flasher is the lower and smaller of the two- the vibration from the switch is noticeably stronger in the correct relay, though it can be felt in both. Remove the relay by pulling straight out towards the drivers side. Trying to get two hands under to keep the connector in place will help, though it is an awkward job.

Brake Bleeding
Thought i'd share my recent experience. So I bled my brakes the other month prior to this years (2024) first track day. Standard 2 person method. But the pedal just felt a little spongy afterwards despite the amount I bled it. So much so I struggled to heal and toe on the track afterwards, as the pedal travel was too far down to get my heel up on the accelerator. I recently bought the LASER brake bleed kit (picture below) and used it to re-bleed the brakes. The difference was night and day,
Servicing.....self or garage? Which are you?
So, I did a Forum 'service' and 'servicing' search, but couldn't find much about the topic specifically. So thought Id kick one off instead. Servicing. Self or Garage? Lotus are renowned for the servicing required. Lots of specialists out there, and it does come at a premium. But... Changing things like oil, filters, brake/clutch fluids etc, are pretty much the same on a Lotus as on most other combustion engines. S1 Lotus Body Sill and Hello!
Hi MLOC, it's been a while since I frequented these parts. I hope you are all well?! I'm looking to tidy up Bucket (my very 'used' S1) and looking for a LH sill. Anyone got an idea of where to procure one from, I've done the usual google search which throws up ones you can't buy anymore, or, still glued to a crashed S1. Any ideas welcome, Cheers Stu
