I have just found that PLay.com have started doing ringtones for mobiles at a very reasonable 99p each. I decided to liven up my phone, and they have some classic ringtones! Just thought some folk may be interested. (NB, if you get polyphonic ones, order them one at a time otherwise you recieve4 non descript bookmarks in one go, each for a different ringtone and you haven't a clue which you are saving as what ) http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=topsellers&r=MOB_MONO Also do backgrounds etc... (and i spotted that they have the logo KrisH uses as his avatar )

I now have my 111s in my garage! Wahey! Picked up yesterday morning, damp roads, thanks for all the advice. Drove home with a very short detour, back end slipped out the only time I really applied power, but I did it on the straight and traction retuned immeadiately I eased off. Then in the afternoon the roads had dried and I went out with a friend for a trip to town. Parked in John Lewis, saw and waved at an S2 on the way into Norwich, didn't feel too worried leaving the car in JL carpark. Drove home the long way with a twisty back road I drive twice a week, so had a good go! Although still driving very cautiously, spent some time looking for second gear on…

Sorry its short notice but a few of the Caterham bunch from Warwickshire are meeting up on Sunday 2nd November to watch JCC 100 mile race at Mallory. At 9.45am (10am set off) they are meeting at the Car Park at The Plough in Eathorpe, (Not far from Leamington Spa) just of the B4455 other wise known as Fosse Way to head up to Mallory. It should be a good race esspecially if its a bit wet. I know that there will be a few Caterhams ranging from R500s, R400s, VX'x, Blackbirds & Fireblades etc racing along with other makes of cars. I know that last year there was an Exige racing but bon't know if there is this year. Attendance from some of the sevens crowd …

Saw a very impressive 540 degree skid/spin this morning on the A45 near Coventry. No one hurt, but probably mincingly embarrassed I would expect - someone coming down a curved slip road and thought they'd boot it to try to get out and wahey! Facing in the wrong direction up the dual carriage way at the end of it. Didn't hit anything fortunately. And the super powered performance vehicle in question? Fairly old fiat tipo.... Bloody dangerous these low powered hatchbacks... Wonder if anyone's thought of setting up '1st Fiat'?

OK, at the risk of a good flaming, the run on Sunday proved that I need to get some sunglasses which aren't dark - the yellow ones most likely - which help you see, don't make things darker and keep the crap out of your eyes. This is partly because I still have bits of leaf and twig flying out of the vents and sunglasses aren't helpful when the light's not great anyway. However, after trying a few places, apparently it's a bit difficult to buy such things at this time of year without them being of the serious geek variety. Anyone have any suggestions or know if these are any good? Kristian p.s. on the run I got hit in the head by a conker whilst driving at a …

Found a nail in front right tyre... it looks as though it has been there a while and the tyre doesn't seem to be going down. It is obviously not a good thing, however, do I: a ) Remove the nail and hope tyre doesn't go down? B ) See it as a chance to replace the awful P0 with Toyo to match rear c ) Drive around with a piece of sharp metal in my tyre and probably kill myself. If you answer B ) any cheap places anyone knows of.... Cheers! Scott
