------- My ownership --------
I purchased the car on 22/8/2020
63920 miles - On collection of the vehicle in August 2020, I spent the subsequent months conducting a full program of preventative maintenance, of which I documented and photographed, consisting of:
• Front and rear clams removed, chassis deep cleaned and coating of applicable components in ACF-50
• Powder coating of roll bar hoop supports
• Full C service, including replacement of both cam belts, tensioners, water pump, cam cover gasket, spark plugs, magnetic sump plug, the recommended Fuchs 15W-50 Pro-Race oil
• New alternator
• Replacement of all fixings with stainless steel items (where applicable)
• Replacement radiator with stainless steel pro-alloy rad (Correct X-Part OAT5 coolant used) – the car holds operating temperature exactly as it should
• Replacement heater actuator
• Refurbishment of brake callipers and ATE Typ-200 brake fluid
• Headlight refurbishment and installation of HID bulbs
• Harness bar installation
• Installation of short-shift gear linkage
• Driving lamps and brackets refurbished
• Osram diadem indicator bulbs
• Stainless steel tow post
• Union Jack badging adjacent to side repeaters
• Diffuser refinished in Satin Black
• Rear Lotus badge replaced with ‘LOTUS’ lettering – laser aligned to factory dimensions
• Detail on all painted surfaces
• Team Dynamics Pro-Race 1.2 wheels acquired in Lotus specific fitment (it took ages to find a both front and rear pairs with the correct offset), refurbished Satin Black and wrapped in Yokohama AD08R

64182 miles - Gearbox oil change – 14/6/2021
64312 miles - Clutch slave cylinder replacement (and bleed of fluid) – 27/10/2021
64897 miles - Rear wheel bearing replacement (due to broken speed sensor wiring) + new caliper bolts and handbrake spring - 7/5/2022

Overall condition:

Generally very presentable, both interior and exterior have wear commensurate with age.

The car is starting to suffer some osmosis on the offside rear.

The car has had paint previously - I had an unfortunate incident where an object in my garage fell between the garage wall and the car, causing a 50p sized chip in the rear clam just forward of the nearside rear wheel. Fortunately I had some spare paint from having the hard top colour-matched and the clam was repaired by Custom Performance – a TVR and Lotus fibreglass specialist body shop. I have photographs of the damage before repair.

Sadly, just last weekend someone has reversed into the rear of the vehicle and their tow-hook has chipped a small portion clam just above the number plate. I will work with any prospective buyer to co-ordinate the repair (I still have some colour-matched paint remaining).

All sensible offers considered, but no PX. As above, private registration is not included (original registration WX53 YPA).
