Out of interest, did the 'OP' - CDM2018 store the car outside with a cover on?

No I have kept covers off as someone told me ages ago not to cover the car , the guy from Carizma told me that was best thing but he said it’s not external weather factor but fault line in the panel material , which is why giving a guarantee is problematic

he also suggested get a front new clam as another option ? Cost and availability be an issue ?

Ah I see, so moisture has a conduit to penetrate quickly from underneath. The TVR forums are full of posts about not covering cars as it causes microblisters, something I have first hand experience of unfortunately.

I'm not sure if I replied to your post on another forrum, but Brendan at Concept Performance in the 'go to' man in TVR circles for painting. Hes at Meden Vale, just off the A60 07815 101096

I remember years ago, when the bonnet on SWMBO's Elise had sufferred microblistering and I was looking at their stand at the Classic Car Show at the NEC. Very impressive, then I felt a movement in my wallet as my credit card attempted to do a runner when I saw their prices!
