Many thanks to Hartleyj and Deanb for their swift replies and for pointing me to Paul at PJS sports cars.

Yes he is a straight guy and has agreed to take a look, so will let you know how we get on.

Out of interest does any one know where MOY 286 L  is?  It was the car I built.
