excel or compatible electric mirrors

HI, 

 

I have an 89 excel and the nearside elec mirror has failed. I can't find a replacement and so am asking if anyone knows what the internals might be off ( I E a supra ?)

I would prefer to keep the car original, but if anyone has suggestions of what they used to replace both sides with something else , I'd be interested.

I don't know the answer, sorry, but have you tried lotusexcel.net?  If you didn't know they are an online club for excels, elites and eclats and they are a very friendly and helpful bunch.
