240r Track Videos

Was discussing one of my favourite Exige models the 240r with @ndy at Byron.  I remembered some videos of an racing driver peddling around in a friends car here are the videos.

Great choice of car there. If i didn't have the s1 i think this would be my no.1 choice car. 

Doesn't Donny look so much better when it had its iconic features, real shame they was removed

Thanks for posting Sheldon, One of my favourite cars...... Drove a track spec one last year during my search for another Lotus and loved it, Debbie (SWMBO) was not so keen as the full cage made it a pain to get in and out.

Did the cage connect via the sills or through the dash?
My S2 was via the dash so didn't restrict access. I actually used the cage to help get in and out.

It went through the sills and consisted of 2 bars and a dash cross bar like this, It did make it much more difficult to get inside and out and the extinguisher didn't help

That style does make it very difficult.
Mine was connected through the dash. That extinguisher wouldn't be comfy either.
Still very nice cars though:)

First Donny video looks quick. Craners sounds near flat which must be quick in a 240r
