I May Need A Trailer - Anyone Got One I Could Borrow?

10 posts in this topic

Got a few things needing sorting on the car from the MOT today, unfortunately making it unwise to drive.

Which means I need to be able to trailer it to a garage to fix.

My trailer fund will now have to be spent on getting the car fixed so I'm on the scrounge if any kind MLOC member has a trailer I could borrow/rent to get the car moved (when I've sorted who's going to fix it).

Anyone help out?

You can use mine over the next few weeks Steve, I wont be using it until mid June, it's in Lichfield.

Got he number for a guy with a flat bed Steve. He lives local to me so it may not make economic sense to have him move your car, but it may be worth giving him a ring!

Thanks Jonny. Most kind.

I'll drop you a pm once I've sorted out where/when it's going

(Dan I need your number as per pm).

Cheers

Well I've got your trailer for a week so very happy to swap you some beers.

No lottery win so I think I only have a couple more chances and I'll have to leave it back with you empty rather than use it to take the exige off your hands.

Had to google how the straps go through the ratchet but car on and secure ready for delivery to Gav next Sat. I assume ok to drop it straight back afterwards?

Just fits in the barn nicely. Don't worry Andy your car is safe and sound :)

I really need to buy one of my own. They're so useful.

You can also borrow mine if needed although not very close to you - it's in Bilston.

Hi sorry just seen your post. Thanks for the kind offer. John's sorted me out though. Cheers.
