Slanted Rear Window ?

I just read an addvert on ebay for an elise on it he says he has a slanted rear window to stop the anoying reflections at night !

well it annoys me also ,especialy if following someone with fog lights on with no need

does anyone know about slanted rear windows ?

Thats a fookin good call.

 

Can be achieved by thick foam at the top and thin foam at the bottom (the screen that is )

 

You need to pack the lower brackets form the outside to get the effect.

 

Does work though.

 

i.e. Push the top out, bottom in.

hardly worth it and a million and one things id spend my money on improving an s1.

 

...you can see the stereo lights at night...so what ??

 

plenty more things worthwhile. S2 wiper and HID lights for starts

Old car had vertical window, new one has slanty one.

 

Virtually no difference - I no longer see as many lights but I do see the stereo display. Shouldn't bother about it.

Is the slanty bit supposed to be on the inside or outside ?
