JRS
Hi there, I'm new to this club so I appologise if I'm doing this wrong! I need to replace the brake disks on my 111s (mk2) elise and was wondering what people out there are doing. The standard lotus cross-drilled disks cost £108 each. I've seen some EBC "turbo" blind drilled and grooved disks for £84 each. Whats the consensus on these, are there any other options? Cheers! Carlylove
As far as I know the brakes are £145 RRP (SET) and are OK. The price I have was for MK2 Elise so that is correct if the 111s uses the same units.
JRS
Thanks for the reply - are yours cross-drilled? That seems like a good price, where did you get that from. My quote was from Orchard lotus in Northampton.
Steve J
The Turbo groove HI Spec are apparently ok for hard road driving and the occasional track day. If you want separate rotors then try Eliseparts. OEM ones are a bit poo IMHO. There are better (and cheaper) ones out there.
