Disks For S2

Hi there, I'm new to this club so I appologise if I'm doing this wrong!

 

I need to replace the brake disks on my 111s (mk2) elise and was wondering what people out there are doing.

The standard lotus cross-drilled disks cost £108 each.

I've seen some EBC "turbo" blind drilled and grooved disks for £84 each.

 

Whats the consensus on these, are there any other options?

As far as I know the brakes are £145 RRP (SET) and are OK.

 

The price I have was for MK2 Elise so that is correct if the 111s uses the same units.

That seems like a good price, where did you get that from. My quote was from Orchard lotus in Northampton.

The Turbo groove HI Spec are apparently ok for hard road driving and the occasional track day.

 

If you want separate rotors then try Eliseparts.

 

OEM ones are a bit poo IMHO. There are better (and cheaper) ones out there.
