The main feature though is the World's Top 50 Fastest Cars and the Lotus Elise features in the 1990-1999 category (S1 Elise). Okay so it's not exactly a "fast car", but they have put it in the same line up as:- Dodge Viper Renault Clio Williams TVR Griffith 500 Honda NSX Ford Escort RS Cosworth Subaru Impreza Turbo 4WD Bugatti EB110 Some pretty prestigious cars to be ranked alongside there Their ode to the Lotus Elise was as follows:- At the opposite end of the scale was the Elise, a superb example of handling science in action. The unrivalled chassis expertise produced a compact, stripped down, two seat roadster in the best tradition of the marque. Great to know its a legendary benchmark for this area. I can pull up to Mr NSX and say.."yea...you know Honda try an make your car handle like mines" hehe!
