I'm waiting for it to stop raining - then I'll take a few... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nope, he needs to 3D Model it, so it's plan view, thingy view, top view etc, you know what I mean I had an amateur bash at some of this a while back, bloody hard work without the right tools. I added several "interesting" cars to Microsoft Train Simulator or Trainz just for fun, yeah right. Think theres an Austin Cambridge somewhere out there in virtual land
ipanter Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 i could sit and watch that s1/s2 image for hours, it's great!

Ladders Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 As the great Roy Walker would say - 'It's good, but it's not quite right!' Windscreens not quite right! Enzo one is quality though!
A_C_Miller Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 there are other tuts around not specifically for the elise using spline modelling. The tricky thing with the elise are the amount of compound curves in it even if you have the elevations its atill a tricky little thing knowing where they start and stop. I'm also trying to get round to modellign this up one up too so if peeps could add me into any mailing lists for photos etc. it would be much appreciated... [email protected] as for the existing tut on elise mk1. tbh its a bit of a shambles as the guy has had quite a few problems with crisp edges and soft edges... there is a s2 model that is much better but only available through turbo squid for cash...
darren5591 Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 the second image looks really interesting, just shows how similar the S2 is to the S1 .................... and where it gets its good looks from
