Dixie Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 The bubbles could have been from the break in the break line. as you lifted off the breaks it would have drawn air in. Bad luck though mate. Hope it's sorted soon!! Might "borrow" the c02 extinguisher for the office!!!
Steve J Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 At least it was an S1. If not, you'd still be there now trying to undo the fixings of the front access panel..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That is so f***ing true
Mr G Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 We've got one...keep it in the boot though which isn't much use. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Gearys Flameaters are also a handy truncheon size. Would make an excellent weapon in the event of a chavattack.
nordberg Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 I work for the fire service and I haven't got an extinguisher. Ironically, in the short time I have owned my elise (2 months) it's not crossed my mind to get one. Can anybody suggest a good one to buy and a place to get it from? PS Hope your car gets well soon
Mark H Posted July 1, 2005 Author Posted July 1, 2005 LOL oh the irony I got mine from Halfrauds, was advised to get at least a 1kg extinguisher, they only last a few blasts even at that size.
