The bubbles could have been from the break in the break line. as you lifted off the breaks it would have drawn air in.

I work for the fire service and I haven't got an extinguisher. Ironically, in the short time I have owned my elise (2 months) it's not crossed my mind to get one. Can anybody suggest a good one to buy and a place to get it from?

I got mine from Halfrauds, was advised to get at least a 1kg extinguisher, they only last a few blasts even at that size.
