Boot Liner

Has anybody had any problems with stuff getting to hot in the boot after removing the boot liner?

 

Was having a little Pre-Le man packing game and realised there's a fair amount of space taken up by the foam underlay!.

 

However the foam underlay has a silver shield and as this is right above the exhaust, the last thing i need is my tent welded to the floor of the boot!!

Heatsheild is there for a reason - take it out, things get hot Those crazy laws of physics!

You can removce the boot bag - and as you say there is a lot more space without it.

 

As for the heatshield, leave that in place... maybe stick some carpet of some sort in for an extra layer.

Yep I'm with Scott (but not in a Gay S2 way)

 

Bag out, but FFS make sure you don't clatter the likes of the ECU on the left hand side.

 

Also bear in mind that if it rains you will get quite a lot of chuffin water in there, not quite sure how it does it but voice of experience , it does.

 

Don't put the tinnies in, the'll get way to hot, errr

I've taken the plush carpet out and left the foam shield in place, still tons of room.
