Snapper
Anyone here been on the Dover to Boulogne Speedferry? I was wondering if there was any ground clearance issue with this ferry? If so were they able to help?.... Been on other ferries some good and some not so good... The reason I ask is because on my Exige I have a front splitter which isn't helpfull with ramps Etc.... Less of an issue with an Elise I think.
Mark H
I believe Mark A managed to snap his splitter off on a ferry, I'm sure he will be along to tell the tale shortly
chris_h
i know its not the same ferry but mine was fine on the ferry from Dover to Calais. Although the side wind was so strong that I ended up about 1 metre to the left as i went over the draw bridge (quite scary) (the next ferry after us was cancelled due to high winds !!) Trip to lille link
Foley
I've used them a couple of times in the Elise. To be fair they were really helpful - wouldn't let me attempt to get on board until they'd told me exactly the best way to approach. Still managed to rip my no' plate off which they replaced for me. Mark A fooked his Exige splitter getting off in Dover, unfortunately they didn't tell him that it was hanging off and let him drive up the dock with it dangling. I'd use them again. Just go dead slow and from an angle, not straight on.
