My Mum has finally got her car, a new shape SLK350! Vroom!

 

Its very comfy, although full of driver aids, as we discovered as it desperately tried to stop wheel spinning as my Mum pulled off the forecourt! GO MUM!

(probally a good thing then!)

 

She is considering Jewelultra Diamondbrite

which is a paint protection thing?!!

 

It costs £300, guaranteed for 6 years, anyone had any experience of this?

 

Is it good/bad?

NO idea, but you get 10% of Invinca Shield through SELOC - similar thing AFAIK.

Its pretty awesome, 5.6secs to 60, FOLDING ROOF, BIG BOOT!

A gear stick at last!

Damn comfy, with mega electric seats, and nav and EVERYTHING!

 

I would happily have one, not much more than a 'new' elise, but quite a lot

more than mine!

 

Of course I still love my liz, but one can love more than one car right?

Invincashield is normal paint protection film I believe, isnt the diamond stuff a teflon coating to your paint? My aunt has that on her car and the water and muck just runs off the car and it looks very very shiny when clean. Doesnt protect from stone chips as well though.

The better half had it on her new Fiesta. It does make cleaning the car easy. It also looks very good afterwards. I dont think it protects against stone chips though. The better half would never drive it fast enough to get any
