lesstatt
Ive been told that the exige exhaust will fit an elise no problem but that the tailpipes stick out too far as the clam on the exige is longer, my question is how far do they stick out and does it look silly, thinking about a Janspeed from an exige you see. dobbo
Mine's fine. No problems with fitting or sticking out too far. There were two tailpipe options, I believe. One is almost rectangle, with smoothed corners http://www.midlandslotus.co.uk/forum/index...&cmd=si&img=482 whereas mine is oval http://www.midlandslotus.co.uk/forum/index...&cmd=si&img=451 http://www.midlandslotus.co.uk/forum/index...&cmd=si&img=423 It's been said before that mine isn't the genuine one, but it has a Lotus Motorsport stamped label with part no. welded to silencer. This one's a custom, made by the Edwards. http://www.midlandslotus.co.uk/forum/index...&cmd=si&img=462 HTH Chris
Mark H
There is a thread on here that had a picture that showed just how far they stuck out of the clam, on the original Exige exhaust it was a decent amount, enough to stop Wuddie getting one. Trouble is the image was hosted by Yahoo and no longer exists so I cant point you to it Dobbo's one is obviously slightly different from the standard exhaust and thus why it fits better. malbon
nevermind how they look...they sound 'kin brilliant. someone on one of the runs had one..brummy lad...can't remember his name but it was awesome... if you like the burbly loud exhaust. was different to chris dobbos - both loud but this one sounded awesome on idle think it was the exige supersport.
