Jonathan E
Hmmmm, don't know about the cream stripes, the red above looks good but I don't think it would suit Bergundy, also the one above has pinstripes at the side can you get these stripes?? maybe silver with a gold pinstripe or gold with silver pinstripe. Bramble111s
I would have thought the pinstripe would be spray only, due to the fact that one hand cuts the straight line in the vinyl after applying... Unless one then appled a coloured vinyl pinstripe afterwards!!!!
simon_prickett
Jon - Sinclaires did mine for something like 78 + VAT.
Steve J
Wow that was cheap. £40 for vinyl, £40 for fitting? They must charge about £8 an hour for labour then
Jonathan E
Got the swatches from Ollie this morning,I didn't realise that there would be such a choice, and now I'm wondering if its the right thing to do... Ho Hum..... Regards Jon
Steve J
But unlike paint, you can just peel them off again if you don't like it. They also make the car faster
Jonathan E
Oh thats it then,if they make the car faster its got to be done ,got the choice down to silver or black,I would really like silver with a black pinstripe but will have to talk to Ollie to see if this can be done in one stripe or it means doing big thick ones then little tiny ones, which would obviously mean alot of steady hands and patience. GCCK
I'd question whether you'd see the black pinstripe against the dark paint background? Silver would have more impact than black, for sure. Or how about a subtle shade of yellow? A sort of ochre-ish rather than bright or lemon yellow would look good.
Ladders
God, it's like changing rooms on here! Jon, I'm sure Olly could manufacture the stripes with the pinstripes ready stuck on if you wanted them.
Jonathan E
Ah, but on changing rooms somebody else does all the work for you. Regards Jon
