Then some guy came in and said "No". Their faces were quite epic. Would be nice to know why Glock slowed down on the last lap. Was it the dry tires? or did he fancy Hamilton to win? we may never know

Omar Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 Well done Hamilton certainly deseveres the title. Was it fixed? I would leave to see Glocks last lap time, the condition had not detoriated any more on that last lap. How could Lewis let Vettel past !! The inquest on this will be interesting

HABC Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 18 seconds on the last lap to catch Glock and the McLaren team had told Lewis not to worry and that he would catch him on that last lap, cool as you like, bloody close though. Great result, an English sportsman at the top of the tree, absolutely fantastic. Sorry for Massa, he certainly put Kimmi in his place this year.
